Meet The Team
We are steadfast in our commitment to advocate for and defend your status in this country. There is no place for fear when confronting the system that impacts immigrants, a reality we have personally encountered within the immigration framework. While our individual origins may vary, our dedication to this fight is unified. As empowered women, we are prepared to guide and support you throughout the journey you are embarking upon with us. Although our racial and ethnic backgrounds may differ, we are all fundamentally members of the same human species, and we are committed to upholding the principle of equal treatment for all.

Marcela B. Knaup
Attorney - Owner
As a California and Argentina-licensed attorney, I have exclusively practiced immigration law in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2012.

I started working as a legal assistant at this law firm in 2023, providing legal and administrative support. I love getting to know immigrants stories and assisting them through the overwhelming process of starting or continuing their lives in the States. My family immigrated from Kabul, Afghanistan, to California, where I was born and raised. As a first-generation Afghan American, I earned my Bachelor’s in Communication at the University of California, Davis, and my Associate’s degree in Communication Studies from Diablo Valley College. I'm fluent in English and Farsi.

On a personal note, I’m currently finishing the Harry Potter Book Series and love taking Pilates classes.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. I also attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland for a semester and Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, CA where I earned my Associate degree in Business.
